*SEPARATED FOR UNCLEANNESS*
📜📜```TEXT:LEVITICUS 15:19-33```📜📜
🔑📖```KEY VERSE:``` _*"Every bed whereon she lieth all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sitteth upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation" (LEVITICUS 15:26).*_
*"We are not to be isolated but insulated," said Vance Havner, "moving in the midst of evil but untouched by it." Jesus was holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners; yet, He was "a friend of tax collectors and sinners."*
*Chapter 15 of Leviticus deals with the subject of separation of a man or woman for a period of time due to some natural uncleanness. During this period of separation, he or she is disallowed from socialising closely with friends and from going to the house of God or touching any of the holy things.*
*A mandatory ceremony and offering for cleansing is then required before a reunion with people and the house of God can be possible. This comprises two doves or two young pigeons, the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering.*
*Some people have taken the matter of Old Testament separation of women for reasons of uncleanness beyond boundary. It is important to highlight that these Old Testament laws affected both men and women, and no mention is made about separating women from the house of God on account of natural uncleanness in the New Testament.*
*We are to be separate enough from immorality and ungodliness that it does not influence us. The Bible makes it clear that we should "come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord." But whilst we steer clear from the world's pollutions, we are expected to be close enough so that we can minister to those who are trapped in all forms of uncleanness.*

📖```MEMORY VERSE:``` _*"Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me" (PSALM 51:10).*_
*The heart is the controlling organ of blood supply to the body. It pumps approximately 2,000 gallons (7,571 litres) of blood every day through its chambers. The heart is very important. Life ceases when the heart stops working.*
*However, in Scripture, the heart refers to the innermost part of man, the seat of intelligence, emotions, thoughts, feelings, conscience, character and morals. The condition of our hearts determine our actions - whether negative or positive. Some experts estimate that about 2,500 - 50,000 thoughts pass through the average human mind daily, and about 70% of them are negative.*
*A defiled heart is in trouble, hence the Bible says: "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life" (Proverbs 4:23). David sinned and tried to cover it but found himself in another sin. He later confessed before Prophet Nathan. His prayer for pardon is the subject of our text today.*
*Sin brings pollution and loss of favour with God. The troubled heart can only get peace through genuine repentance. If you are troubled by sin, take it to God in prayer.*

Our Lord Jesus is in heaven, but He may come back any moment from now to take His children home. It may be today, tomorrow, next week or anytime later. Nobody knows the day He will come, but He promised that He will come again.
He has gone to prepare beautiful mansions in heaven for His friends. As a child of God, you should always remember that Jesus is coming back!
He is coming to take His friends to heaven so that they can be where He is. His friends are those that have accepted Him as their Lord and Saviour, have surrendered their lives to Him and have stopped doing bad things. As each day passes by, His coming draws nearer.
We must be prepared to meet Him because He will come suddenly and unannounced. Your daily song should be:
