THE NEW MAN's WAYS

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new .

2 Corinthians 5:17

A story was told of a boy who joined a gang while in primary school. He absconded from home at age 12 and was trapped in gangsterism and drug offences. He eventually returned home but could not adjust having been expelled from school. By divine providence, he enrolled in another school where he heard the gospel message, gave his life to Christ and experienced a new life. “The Bible teaches that when a person comes to Christ, a change takes place that is reflected in everything he does,” says Billy Graham. Read this, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD” (Isaiah 55:8). If you have surrendered your life to Christ then you are a ‘new man’ and it must show in your ways: character, conduct and relationships. Your thoughts and ways will become God’s. Praise be to God! If you are still a sinner, repent today, and Christ will give you a new life and power to go and sin no more.
Challenge: Forsake your old sinful life and embrace Christ
Prayer: Father, help me put off the old man for the new man

  WHY I CONVERTED FROM ISLAM TO CHRISTIANITY. I converted from Islam to Christianity simply because Islam gives no guarantee of salvation.  Because Islam recognises that Jesus is 'the word of God' so God "the Messiah" therefore the savior ( Surah 3 v 45).  Because Allah recognises in the Qur'an that those who follow Jesus Christ (Christians) will be above those who do not follow Jesus Christ ( Muslims and others) until resurrection ( surah 3 v 55).  Because Qur'an itself recognises that Jesus Christ is without sin (pure) (surah 19 v 19), while the Qur'an asks Mohammed to pray for the forgiveness of his sins ( surah 40 v 55). Unlike Mohammed, Jesus has lived more than 33 years without ever sinning. I converted because where Mohammed recommends the killing of enemies, (surah 9 v 5) Jesus Christ recommends loving them (Matthew 5 v 44).
